As for the taste, I am quite happy with it. Certainly these have a much different texture than a traditional cinnamon roll but still good. I have to say, these really reminded me of the cini-minis they used to sell at Burger King for breakfast, and I do not mean that in a bad way. Indeed, I have been craving cini-minis since they were discontinued and am overjoyed I can make them at home now with this recipe! I’m going to try making them even smaller using a mini muffin pan! Thank you for the recipe.
]]>What is the size of the rectangle that we are supposed to create? “Six inches” on one side is not terribly specific. What is the other dimension? How thick should this rectangle be? How big should that rectangle be? I think this is important to know.
I am anxious to know because this is otherwise a very attractive recipe that looks very easy to make.
No, I’m sorry. Because it doesn’t have yeast, it shouldn’t sit because the baking soda starts reacting immediately.
]]>No. Do not do this. The baking soda begins reacting immediately when mixed into the dough and it needs to be cooked soon after.
]]>I used white vinegar and they were perfect.
]]>Either is fine :) I usually bake with unsalted.
