I have never been a huge sugar cookie person, but OMG, these are AMAZING! It’s just my wife and I so in our search for small batch recipes we stumbled upon this website. This is now our favorite cookie recipe and we make these every 6-8 weeks as a weekend treat. Depending on how you divide the dough you can make 6-8 cookies. Drop the time a little if you like a softer center.

i am notorious for messing up perfect recipes.. this bad boy is FOOL PROOF. love it best sugar cookies i’ve made and i love baking, i used salted butter and skipped adding salt and added extra sugar, i freestyled a bit on measurements bc i couldn’t find my 1/2 tsp (i doubled the recipe) and they’re perfect and chewy. make them!!

Very pure and delicious. Only recommendation is that cooking time is more like 20 minutes due to the dry nature of the cookie. Aside from that, 100% recommend.

The sugar cookies were delicious and very easy to make. I wanted something sweet but didn’t want to be in the kitchen a long time so this recipe was perfect. Also sugar cookies are my husband favorite so he was delighted to have these. I will be making these again.

Loving these cookies, though even for just me and my husband I double the batch! I make half of it chocolate chip skor, half lavender earl gray and they are both divine! OMG (and I HATE that ‘expression’) but these ARE the best sugar cookies I’ve ever had, made, seen, heard of :). So simple and straightforward and absolute perfection. They hit the spot when the fam and I want a little something sweet but dont want to make a huge amount of cookies. The kids add chocolate chips or other candy to the batch sometimes.
