No, follow the recipe as-written for the best results. It sounds like you’re looking for a very pale vanilla cake without egg yolks. Try google.

The texture was a little heavy, I think next ime I make it, I’ll skip the vinegar and soda, and add a half teaspoon of baking powder. I love the samll recipes!

I wanted to make sure he had a dessert to enjoy with our Christmas Eve dinner. This is the best vanilla cake I’ve ever tasted. I actually liked it 1,000% more than the chocolate one I made. Terrific recipe. I will defiitely make this again.
