So so good. The buttermilk added just enough zing. But I agree with Teresa Collins is does need a little salt. Maybe an eighth or a quarter of a teaspoon. It will be on my rotation list for special days.

I’m in the UK and these aren’t coming out for me either. Far too runny. I’ve followed the recipe as written and I’m using regular AP flour.

Check your flour to make sure it’s just flour? It might be self rising flour, I have heard that it is labeled differently in europe.
