I had the same problem with he sticky-ness. It was suppeeeeeer sticky so I put them in the little scoops on the parchment paper and refrigerated them for an hour then intead of otherwise after the jam. I suggest doing that!

Perfect for a lovely tea party, and I thought they looked like something right out of Alice In Wonderland. The heart kept it´s shape, but unsuprisingly since I did put them in the fridge in between stages, probably more than needed. The shortbread tastes really nice, and I baked it for about 12 minutes. I baked them for the perfect amount of time, if anything I should have given them 30 seconds to a minute longer to bake. I used raspberry jam instead of strawberry jam, this is obviously optional but in my opinion, the raspberry tastes better. It´s really up to you, as they’re both equally sweet. I didn´t have any of the almond extract sadly, but they did taste amazing. I will be coming back to this recipe very soon! xx

Is it supposed to be granulated sugar or powdered sugar? I used granulated per the written recipe but my dough is suuuuper sticky. I watched the video after I started second guessing, and it looked like maybe you used powdered sugar.
