When adding beef broth I added also 1 T tomato paste and 2 T sherry. The tomato paste adds umami and the sherry adds depth of flavor. Delicious! Using stew meat is quite a cost savings as I usually use top sirloin. Meat was very tender.

I made this and I thought it was delicious. I did substitute my yogurt made in the Instant Pot (cold-start method) for the sour cream, and it was great. I also used beef broth made in the Instant Pot. I will certainly make this dish again. Thanks so much :)

When I’m ready for leftovers, I thaw and reheat the stroganoff and add more sour cream then. I did this with my moms stovetop stroganoff recipe and will try this with yours.

I added a bit more beef broth just so I could do the whole 8 oz bag of egg noodles. My daughter loves egg noodles so there can never be too many.
