It truly brought tears to my eyes as I read the admiration in your words. I am certain that, whatever recipe of yours I make, that love will come through. I, too, am sort of fearless when I bake (most things are passible here!) so I will jump in with both feet and make the cookies, followed by the mini chocolate cream pie (both favorites of my husband).

I think I’m going to try it as I’ve had success using almond milk in sugar free pudding mixes, just using a little less milk, it sets up great. Thanks for answering my question. Love your recipes!

I made the crust as directed the first time. Later I wanted the pie again but only had cinnamon grahams on hand. I used them instead, just eliminated the cinnamon and sugar called for in the recipe. Turned out great.

It was fantastic! Very chocolaty and creamy. The two 6″ pie plates I bought were very expensive but I did find used ones on eBay for about $15 a piece or so. I will and have make/made this pie again! Highly recommended! DELICIOUS!
