My family LOVED these cookies. My daughter has just had a baby and I’m here helping out. I made these cookies for them. I adjusted it since I didn’t have cream cheese – I substituted full fat Greek yogurt. And they turned out great!

Wow! I almost cried when I ate these, they were so incredibly delicious. Thank you for the cream cheese sub for eggs! I like these even better than cookies with eggs. :)
PS, I just used my bare.hands to mix them, and I subbed pecans for chocolate, used only brown sugar, and used gf flour (cup 4 cup) with no baking soda. Came out so amazing – just had to cook for a bit longer.
Also totally agree on # of cookies! Thank you for sharing this!!

These are so good! I needed to bring something egg- and nut-free to my son’s daycare Christmas concert today and these were perfect.
I made a test batch last week just to be sure they were the real deal. I made the recipe as written above but I omitted the espresso powder. I got seven big cookies and they were delicious. My husband and I ate them all before they’d even cooled down.
The second time I tripled the recipe and left the dough in the fridge overnight. Not intentionally, but bedtime was a sh*tshow last night and it was too late to bake them. The dough was still too hard to scoop after 45 minutes out of the fridge this morning, so I used my electric mixer for 10-20 seconds to soften it a bit. Worked a treat! Tripling the recipe worked perfectly as well. I made them a bit smaller this time around and I got 24 + a runt cookie!

These cookies were awesome! I didn’t have any eggs and wanted to make cookies; I am so glad I found your recipe. The only difference I made was chopping up a good quality chocolate bar instead of using chocolate chips. The addition of the espresso powder really made a difference. They were soooo good!

I was so upset I didn’t have a egg when I needed chocolate chip cookies (my favorite) .. this cookie was one of the best cookie recipe I’ve had. The cookie literally melts in your mouth hahah. Great flavor , I will now keep this recipe a regular in my home. I followed it step by step.

When it comes to cookies, I always prefer without eggs. My husband compliments these as Subway cookies. Would you please always provide the ingredients in Grams ? It’s difficult to convert online as there’s no guarantee that conversion is right.
